These Fig Jam Pork Chops are surprisingly simple but filled with delicious sweet and savory flavor that you’ll want to make week after week. Bring this recipe together with the vegetables of your choice, prepared to your liking and a glass of your favorite red wine.

Ingredients:
- 4 Thinly Sliced Pork Chops
- 1 Tbsp – Lasseter Heirloom Farms Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 3 Tbsp – Fig Jam
- 5 Cloves Garlic, chopped
- 1/2 Cup – Water
- 2 Tbsp – Butter
- Salt – to taste
- Pepper – to taste
Preparation:
Step one:
Preheat grill to 350 degrees. Pat dry pork chops and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Step two:
In a large saucepan, heat olive oil on low then add chopped garlic. Cook until fragrant and add fig jam to pan. Once jam is soft and melted, pour in 1/2 cup of water and stir until combined. Let lightly simmer until thick and glossy. Turn off heat and stir in butter.
Step three:
While jam sauce is simmering, set pork chops on the grill. Cook for 3-5 minutes per side then remove from grill. Once jam sauce is finished, add cooked pork chops to the pan, coating each piece.
