As we wrap up the four-year construction project on our home in beautiful Sonoma Valley, our winery team is already hard at work making real the dream of our new winery building.

My first step was to gather together an absolutely stellar group of talented and trusted professionals to begin the design of the Lasseter Family Winery, including:

• Jessie Whitesides of A² Studios (Architect)
• Greg Swaffar and the team at Summit Engineering
• Mark Molofsky, Glynn Burchette and the rest of the crew at Molofsky Builders
• Alan Soule of Soule Builders
• Phillip Kalsched of Carle Mackie Powers & Ross (legal)
• Julia Iantosca (winemaker)
• Becky Ross (project management and finances)

When we began design discussions on the winery, I told the team, “Look, I’ve just completed a four year construction project, and I’m a little crispy. I’m relying on all of you to be on top of your game to pull this off!” They heard me, rolled up their sleeves, and went to work. In a few short months, we have worked diligently with the County Planning Department to get their input, presented our vision to the neighbors, and have completed our design!

Now we are close to the exciting day where we will stick our shovel in the ground, signaling the beginning of construction. Stay tuned as we await the County’s green light.....
